José Olympio Pereira is the CEO of Credit Suisse Bank in Brazil since 2012.
He has also worked for Citigroup, from 2001 to 2004, as Head of Investment Banking for Brazil and Co-Head for Latin America.
Between 1998 and 2001, he chaired the Brazilian subsidiary of investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
With a marked trajectory in the banking segment, he began his career at Banco de Investimentos Garantia in 1985, where he remained for 13 years.
His curriculum includes many M&A transactions as well as equity and debt offerings, such as the merger between the Belgian brewer Interbrew and the Brazilian Ambev, the IPO and dispersion of Lojas Renner’s capital, and the merger between Bovespa and BM&F.
