Felipe Hanszmann
Felipe has more than 15 years of experience on complex Corporate matters, including M&A transactions and cross-border acquisitions, as well as correlated arbitration and strategic litigation, with clients encompassing a range of leading companies, private equity sponsors, and investment banks.
As co-head of VR1, Vieira Rezendes’s Digital Transformation project, encompassing its Innovation and Venture Capital practices, Felipe acts as an advisor, board member, and investor in startups.
He developed recognized expertise in regulatory affairs with the CVM, advising on corporate restructuring, takeover bids, and administrative proceedings.
Felipe is also dedicated to an academic career as a professor at FGV Law Rio, teaching subjects related to takeover regulation, M&A, governance, and entrepreneurship, and edits an annual collection of articles on corporate law and capital markets. Among such academic activities, Felipe conducts research and publishes articles on a number of innovative regulatory matters, such as crypto assets, digital securities, NFTs, and regulatory sandboxes.
