Leila Orenstein

Leila has been a partner at Gera Capital since 2012, focusing on growth equity investments in the education and healthcare sectors. Gera founded Eleva Educação and invested in companies such as Edify, CREB, and several startups.

She began her career at Banco BBM on the International Macro Research desk and at the Gavea Investimentos Macro Research team. She also acted as a consulting visitor at Brilliant, a Silicon Valley education company invested by Social Capital.

Leila has an Economics bachelor’s degree from PUC-Rio and is a Harvard Business School alumni through PLD 2017.
